43INC Speaker Series featuring David Vobora

Mission43 was pleased to host our 43INC Speaker Series featuring David Vobora. Dave was a standout football player at the University of Idaho and spent five seasons in the NFL. After retiring, he discovered his passion for working with veterans and adaptive athletes. He founded the Adaptive Training Foundation where he helps athletes "Defy the Impossible." We had a great conversation with Dave and it was a captivating event that left a lasting impact.

After Dave’s successful 5-year career was abruptly ended by a devastating shoulder injury, he searched to redefine his identity outside of football. He soon met a quadruple amputee and military Veteran, Ssgt. Travis Mills. Over the last 9+ years, David & his team at ATF have put more than 300+ adaptive athletes through their flagship REDEFINE program in Dallas, TX.

Dave shared with us his personal story of overcoming challenges and his journey of inspiring others to believe in their own potential. He emphasized the importance of embracing fear and failure as opportunities for growth while providing practical strategies for success.

His powerful message served as a reminder that anyone can overcome adversity and achieve greatness with the right mindset.
