THE mission

Mission43 is a partnership of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation and four premier veterans organizations designed to give currently serving military, former military, and military spouses in Idaho, the 43rd state, the resources for a successful transition after leaving the service.

By bringing together these world-class organizations, Idaho's post-9/11 servicemen, women, and their spouses have the resources to excel academically, in their next career, and in the community.

the foundation

The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation is based in Boise, Idaho. 2016 marked fifty years of giving, totaling more than $650 million to Idaho children and families. In this landmark anniversary year, the foundation launched Mission43, an initiative focused on Idaho veterans and creating opportunities for them to lead, learn, and inspire in our communities. The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation truly believes that the American military family is a civic asset that has the power to positively transform our state.
