Mission43 Leaders Fellowship: Announcing the 5th Cohort

Investing in the Future of Veterans, Military Spouses, and Currently Serving Military Members

Mission43 is proud to announce the selection of the 5th cohort of the Mission43 Leaders Fellowship. The Fellowship is a highly selective program designed to cultivate and enhance the leadership skills of a diverse group of veterans, military spouses, and currently serving military members who demonstrate exceptional potential and seek personal and professional growth.

The selected 24 Fellows have a combined 386 years of service, 77 deployments, and 124 PCS moves. This impressive group is made up of 9 enlisted, 9 officers, and 6 military spouses. They represent a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and military branches, but they share a common commitment to excellence and service.

These individuals are exceptional leaders who have already made a significant impact in their military careers, and we are excited to invest in their continued development and growth.”
— Dan Nelson, Director of Mission43

Over the course of the year-long Fellowship, the Fellows will participate in a series of intensive leadership development programs, including a wilderness immersion experience, group development sessions, and networking opportunities with accomplished leaders from across Idaho. Through this program, Mission43 aims to unleash the potential of these individuals and to increase their ability to positively impact the state of Idaho.

"I experienced an abrupt transition from my military career to civilian life myself, and the opportunity to be a Fellow in the first cohort of Mission43's Leaders Fellowship was the seminal event that changed the trajectory of my life as a civilian in Idaho,” said Nelson. “We believe that investing in the leadership potential of veterans, military spouses, and currently serving military members is critical to the success of our communities and our state, and we are honored to support them in their journey."

Mission43 is excited to support this next cohort of the Leaders Fellowship program and looks forward to the positive impact they will have on the great state of Idaho.
