Honor the service and sacrifice of September 11th with a Miles of Remembrance 5K run on the Boise Greenbelt.
Come out to the 23rd Annual Warbird Roundup on Aug 23rd & 24th! Gates open at 8:00am on both days, with an amazing array of warbirds flying shortly after everyone is settled in.
The Warbird Roundup is Idaho’s largest 2-day gathering of historic war planes from across the country. Watch the planes fly, see them up close and meet the pilots. The knowledgeable announcers and pilots educate the crowd about each of the warbirds including their history, interesting facts, and importance to our country. There will be food trucks, guest speakers, and all visitors get full access to the incredible Warhawk Air Museum.
*Schedule and warbirds are subject to change and weather permitting.
Mission43 is proud to promote this Aaron Butler Memorial Foundation event to our community of veteran and military spouses. The ABMF is chartered to honor the fallen, engage communities throughout our Nation in meaningful social action events, and close the gap between the Nation’s populace and the warfighting minority.
This year marks the running of the 7th annual Aaron Butler Memorial Purple Heart Run (ABMPHR) which will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the Eagle Island State Park and surrounding trail system. Sign up, show up, and embrace the suck in the 5K, 10K, or signature Unknown Distance Run (they guarantee no less than 400M and no more than 50K, you won't know the final distance until you finish.) Don't forget about the 16-and-under Youth 5K…ABMF cares deeply about youth leadership development and believe that it begins with exposure to service and sacrifice.
It's more than a run, it's an emotional and educational experience.
Date: Saturday, August 16th
Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
