OPERATION RESILIENT PATH (ORP)

Mission43 is committed to assisting veterans and first responders who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) who desire treatment opportunities unavailable through traditional Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Administration (VA), or other insurance support.

When a veteran or first responder contacts Mission43, it’s completely confidential and we work together to determine the best course of action, we coordinate with our partner programs, and get started without the typical red tape and bureaucracy. ORP is designed to be extremely responsive to the seriousness of the situation of each individual.

The negative effects of TBI, PTSD, and SUD have far reaching consequences on veterans, families, and our Idaho communities as a whole. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in ORP, please use the form below to let us know. The ORP program is not everything to everyone, however we encourage all to take the opportunity to discover if there is a fit.

BRAD BLAIR
OPERATION RESILIENT PATH DIRECTOR

Brad Blair is a veteran of the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, with four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Years after leaving the military, he realized that asking for help is a powerful act of courage, not a sign of weakness. Today, as Director of Operation Resilient Path, Brad ensures that others can access the same support that changed his life.

KELLY COTTLE
OPERATION RESILIENT PATH & MILITARY SPOUSE COORDINATOR

Kelly Cottle is a military spouse, South African native, and former collegiate swimmer who found her calling in social work after meeting her husband, a combat-wounded Marine. Kelly now helps veterans facing TBI, PTSD, and substance use disorders, ensuring they get the care and community they deserve, while also supporting the unique needs of military spouses.

PARTNER PROGRAMS

Treatment for ORP veterans and first responders is not provided directly by Mission43, but rather key partnerships with premier programs that provide a host of treatment modalities. This is typically free to the ORP participant provided through a grant from Mission43 & the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation.

Summit Hyperbarics & Wellness

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) offers a treatment method for TBI and PTS. During HBOT, the individual is inside a chamber (similar to a dive chamber) and breathes pure oxygen in a pressurized environment. It’s brought life-altering success and better quality of life to numerous ORP participants. Summit is located in Boise, Idaho on the campus of the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse.

Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH)

MIBH provides specialty care for those struggling with mild to moderate TBIs (including concussions) and changes in psychological health. This is provided through a collaborative team of experts in brain health that focus on the physical, emotional, and cognitive changes that can accompany trauma to head. The MIBH is located in Aurora CO at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health & Wellness Center.

Warriors Heart

Warriors Heart provides private treatment to the men and women who are seeking inpatient treatment for chemical dependancy, alcohol abuse, and co-occurring psychological disorders relating to PTSD or or MTBI. Warriors Heart is located in San Antonio, TX and treats only veterans and first responders.

Challenged Athletes Foundation Operation Rebound

Operation Rebound supports veterans and first responders who have permanent physical injuries with equipment grants (ie adaptive sports equipment) or training grants. The goal is to use sports and fitness to re-integrate into our communities, and through Mission43’s unique partnership with CAF, Idahoans have incredible access to these opportunities.

THE HEADSTRONG PROJECT

Headstrong provides a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive treatment program addressing the psychological aftermath of trauma. Treatment is both collaborative and evidence-based. Headstrong commits to supporting those who bravely served our country, regardless of service era or discharge status, and battle daily with the impact of trauma. We deliver the treatment, tools, and support needed to win that battle. Confidential. Bureaucracy-free. Stigma-free.
