Military Pitch Event at Boise Entrepreneur Week

Military Track at Boise Entrepreneur Week

Mission43 has teamed up with the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) to host a military track at the Boise Entrepreneur Week (BEW). The military track represents an open door for military-connected business owners to integrate into the robust entrepreneurial community in Boise and state-wide. The track includes a panel of experienced military entrepreneurs who will provide insight into the business growth and development process and opportunities specifically available to military-connected business owners, as well as an exclusive pitch competition.

$10,000 Total Winnings for Military, Veteran, and Spouse Entrepreneurs

The inaugural military pitch competition will be held on Thursday, October 5th, 2023.

“This competition is the perfect opportunity for our military community members to get exposed to Idaho’s entrepreneurial network and showcase what they have to offer. Whether participants are just starting out, or they need that extra boost to grow their business or nonprofit, this pitch is for them.”

- Alison Garrow, Mission43 Education Director

Participants can pitch to earn one of three awards in the amounts of $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place. Military members, veterans, and their spouses across Idaho are invited to participate, and while we would hope to see participants become part of the Mission43 and VEA networks, prior membership or affiliation is not required.

“The Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance and our partners at Mission43 are dedicated to the military community and are so proud to bring these opportunities to life!”

– Isaac Belden, Founder, Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance

Members of the military community who are interested in participating in the pitch competition can apply below.
