Hire Heroes USA | 43INC: Military Spouse Employment Workshop and Social Hour

Are you a military spouse looking for employment or thinking of making a career change? Join us for our first ever spouse focused workshop and networking social hour! This Hire Heroes USA workshop will give you the tools and confidence to start your job search. The 43INC social will give you the opportunity to talk with employers looking to hire and network with other career-minded military spouses. Best of all, we’ll be at Telaya Winery for the day’s events!

HHUSA Employment Workshop Details

The goal of the workshop is to examine the current job market, career opportunities, and discuss individual perspectives in the experiences of military spouses searching for employment. You’ll hear from local employers during an interactive Q&A panel, discuss remote work, and develop your value proposition so you can articulate it effectively in your next interview.

Workshop Schedule

  • 12:00 - 12:30pm: Check-In and LinkedIn Headshots

  • 12:30 - 1:00pm: Welcome Remarks & Military Spouse Stories

  • 1:00 - 3:00pm: Job Search Best Practices

  • 3:00 - 4:30pm: Employer Panel

  • 4:45 - 5:15pm: Mock Interviews

Please Note

  • Attire: Business casual

  • Please bring copies of your current resume

  • Laptops will not be needed

  • Snacks and refreshments provided

43INC Networking Social Hour

This is a special edition of 43INC (Innovate + Network + Connect) just for military spouses. We invite you to join us and Hire Heroes USA to have a glass of wine and grab dinner with other career-minded military spouses and local industry professionals. Whether you are currently employed, looking for a job, or just interested in growing your network, this event is for you. 

Mission43 members will receive a complimentary drink and food token for the event.
