Community Partner - Regulatory Roundtable

The Zions Bank Business Resource Center has been an incredible partner in supporting our M43 entrepreneurs. Through workshops and one-on-one support they have been providing the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to succeed as a small business. Check out this event…it will be well worth your time!

ABOUT THIS EVENT FROM THE ZIONS BANK BRC:

It’s often better to be proactive rather than reactive in business.  This is especially true when it comes to complying with rules around taxes and employment.  Mistakes can be costly, time consuming and stressful.   That’s why the Zions Bank® Business Resource Center is teaming up with guest presenters from three state agencies for a new workshop where you’ll gain access to experts and important information in a friendly, casual environment before a “situation” develops.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn from representatives from the Idaho State Tax Commission, the Idaho Industrial Commission, and the Idaho Department of Labor.

  • Find out what you don’t know but need to know about:

    •  Sales Tax Permitting

    • Income Tax Withholding, Idaho W-4 and other forms

    • Workman’s Compensation and Unemployment Insurance

    • Independent Contractor versus Employee status

    • Wage Payment Law Compliance

  • Get your questions answered and your confusion cleared up.
