9/11 Miles of Remembrance

family-friendly 5K in Downtown Boise

Every year Mission43 conducts the 9/11 Miles of Remembrance 5K on September 11th to honor and remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. This date also signifies the beginning of the Global War on Terror (GWOT) which many of our current and former military members supported.

In 2024, we invite you to join us on the Boise River Greenbelt for a family-friendly event that is open to the entire community for people of all abilities to participate. Feel free to run, walk, ruck, or handcycle the 5K route along the beautiful Boise River and join us in the social area at the start/finish line to include food and drinks, music, guest speakers, and fun for all.

Early registration, which guarantees your event t-shirt which will be mailed to you before the event, runs from June 3rd - August 1st, 2024.

Packet Pick-up: Avoid the long lines on run day and pick up your event packet and t-shirt on Sunday, September 8th at Payette Brewing Company in Boise between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Enjoy a drink on us and prepare for the run!

Event Parking: Ann Morrison Park offers several parking lots and street parking. The event social area will be held near the beautiful Ann Morrison Fountain in the middle of the park. There will be a large crowd attending this year so we recommend arriving no later than 5:00 pm on race day to get a parking spot and enjoy the pre-run social area.
