Hire Heroes USA Career Transition Event

Transitioning military members, veterans, and military spouses: Are you interested in finding civilian employment and don’t know where to start? Join Hire Heroes USA and Mission43 on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 for a Career Transition Event.

Fellow veterans and Hiring Managers will comprise an interactive Q&A panel to assist you with everything you need to know about transitioning into civilian employment. The panel will examine the current job market, career opportunities, application techniques, interview strategy, and individual perspectives on the struggles of veterans and spouses transitioning into the civilian workforce. This event will allow you to interact and network with working professionals that have up to date insight into the hiring procedures. Your comrades are here to help you be successful after the military.

Following the panel, you will have the opportunity to practice interviews skills and receive direct feedback from hiring managers. Practice makes perfect!

The Mission43 team will be on site at Caffeina Roasting Company off State Street in Boise if you want to swing by and grab a cup of coffee with us. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about M43 and the pillars. It’s low key, come as you are and have a good time!

The Hire Heroes USA team will be hosting a one-day workshop on the Lewis-Clark State College campus. This is a great way to kick-start your next career and work face-to-face with the experts in helping military spouses and veterans succeed in their transition to the civilian workforce. Our classes will provide advanced instruction and practical application in resume writing, networking techniques, and interview execution.

Mock Interview Day: April 12th

You also have the opportunity to take part in the Mock Interview training the following day, April 12th. Challenge yourself and practice your techniques with mock interviews conducted by HR professionals who have experience across many different business sectors. You'll receive honest feedback and gain confidence sitting in the hot seat, to help you land your dream job. Although this is just practice, at every mock interview training event we have seen candidates offered actual jobs!
